Common Knowledge for Choosing Sealing Machines
After the product is packed into the packaging container, in order to seal and preserve the product, maintain product quality, and avoid product loss, it is necessary to seal the packaging container. This operation is completed on top. It refers to the machinery that seals the packaging container after it contains the product.
There are many materials used to make packaging containers, such as paper, plastic, glass, ceramics, metal, composite materials, etc. The shape and physical properties of packaging containers are also different, so the sealing form and sealing device used are also different. Generally, according to the mechanical properties of packaging materials, they can be divided into the following two categories:
(1) Flexible container sealing device
Flexible containers are bag type containers made of flexible materials such as paper, plastic film, composite film, etc. The sealing of such containers is often combined with bag making and filling to form a joint machine, and is rarely used independently. Due to different materials, the sealing device is also different.
① Paper bag sealing device.
For paper materials, it is generally used to apply adhesive to the sealing area and then apply mechanical pressure for sealing.
② Sealing device for plastic film bags and composite film bags. Many plastics have good heat sealing properties. Plastic bags or composite bags made of these plastics are generally heated directly at the sealing point and subjected to mechanical pressure to fuse and seal.
(2) Rigid container sealing machine
A rigid container refers to a container whose shape is not easily changed after forming, and its sealing often uses different forms of lids. The commonly used types are as follows.
① Spin cap. This type of cover is pre processed with internal threads, which can be either single or multiple headed. For example, single headed threads are commonly used in medicine bottles, while multi headed threads are commonly used in canned bottles. The machine seals the lid by rotating it and pressing it tightly against the mouth of the container.
② Rolling pattern. This type of sealing is mostly made of aluminum, without any threads beforehand. The aluminum cap is rolled with a roller to create a thread shape that is exactly the same as the thread on the bottle mouth, thereby sealing the container. This type of lid, when opened, will break the indentations around the skirt and cannot be restored, hence it is also known as an "anti-theft lid". This machine is mostly used for sealing and packaging high-end alcoholic beverages.
